Back at GDC I had the opportunity sit down with David Hoffman, executive producer for OGPlanet, a company specializing in importing East Asian titles into the North American market.

OGPlanet, an innovative provider of multiplayer online games, today announced that it is bringing side-scrolling MMORPG La Tale to North America. La Tale's whimsical art style and detailed 2D worlds bring a lighthearted touch to the MMORPG genre, and have won it a large following in Asia.

OGPlanet today announced they will bring La Tale, a side-scrolling MMORPG, to North America during Q3 2008. The game features beautiful 2D worlds, simple and intuitive gameplay, lots of character customization options, pets and accessories, as well as a guild system.

Starting Thursday, 'Albatross 18' characters will be able to don pink-ribbon face paint for breast cancer awareness. Pink face paint isn't exactly par adornment for the golf course, but it's about to show up on at least one green--that of fantasy golf game Albatross 18.

Beginning Thursday, April 10, fans of Albatross18, OGPlanet's fantasy role-playing golf game, will be able to purchase Pink Ribbon Face Paint for their characters. This in-game item will cost $2.50, with $2 of each purchase going to support Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising health awareness and supporting cancer research.
